In July 2010 the AFSP became a company limited by guarantee, with a nominee from each of the providers being a director of this not for profit company.
The incorporation of AFSP has been welcomed by the Forensic Science Regulator and a representative of AFSP has a seat on the Regulator’s Forensic Science Advisory Council (FSAC).
